As you fill out this application, please remember we look at applications with an eye to finding the people who match well with this program. We want creative people who show a capacity for real conversations and innovation. We don't want perfect answers, we don't grade applications. We want applicants who show that they can 'go there' with us, on a self-directed yet fully mentored journey into a world of incredible life skills and fully realized adventure. Keep in mind that this application marks a two-way street, where you see if we match your mission and vision, just as we look for whether you match ours. Expect further conversation, whether over phone, email, or in person, to further explore the beginning of this relationship, and whether it makes sense for you to join our program.

You can also feel free to link to YouTube videos, blogs, flickr ablums, myspace pages, etc. Please describe your hunting and gathering experience- be creative about what is "hunting and gathering". Making mud pies when you were 5 years old is an informative example. This is simply getting to know you, and remember, you can always change the question.

Program STATS

WHEN Sept 08- June 09. Meets Tues, Wed & Thurs with many overnight and weeklong trips through the year. Also, 4 nights a week of optional SHIFT: Martial and Movement Arts training and key TrackersNW adult programs. PAID internship opportunities available.

WHERE The Urban and extended Wilderness & Community land of the Willamette Valley and the Pacific Northwest. Natural Building and Green Renovation co-op options are available for student housing and income earning opportunities.

3/10/08- $1250 deposit due with a $250 non-refundable enrollment fee
8/10/08- Half of remaining tuition due.
1/15/09: Rest of the tuition due.

Rolling Application Period
Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis until the final application deadline, August 20, 2008. First payment due by August 10th or immediately upon acceptance, if acceptance occurs after August 20th.
